Revolving Fund Program

Revolving fund (RF) is a fund where an amount is collected from different sources to provide immediate financial help in advance (which must later be reimbursed to RF) for community members who are in a critical condition or in dire financial need.

Critical Situation

A critical situation is defined as follows:

  • Suffering from a serious illness/injury that will require a long time of rest and a doctor’s restriction to not work for more than __ months before going back to work.

  • An accidental death and the person will have to be cremated here.

  • All other unspecified incidents (not listed above) that require extra support from the community AND is approved by ⅔ of ANKA board members.

Funding Sources

Donations from:

  • Community members.

  • Donations from ANKA resources.

  • Governmental and non-governmental organizations.

  • ANKA resources.

Fund Implementation

If ANKA notices that any member of the community is suffering from a critical situation as defined above, the individual or their family members will be consulted and the information gathered will be discussed by the board. If ⅔ of the board realizes the critical situation and decides to raise funds, first the individual’s or their family’s consent will be taken.

Then, ANKA will appeal to the community to raise money for the victim. For this purpose we can open a GoFundMe account or take direct initiative to raise the fund.

Advance Money

Fundraising is a process that takes time. If a victim or their family members need immediate financial help, ANKA can provide a certain amount (not more than $2000) in advance.

This amount must be reimbursed from the newly raised funds before the remaining funds will be handed over to the victim or their family.

This use of the funds will then be communicated to the community by various media outlets.

Reporting and Auditing

At the end of the year, the transactions from the fund will be incorporated into the ANKA main account.

Finally, this main ANKA account will be audited and a financial report submitted to the concerned entities according to the bylaws of ANKA.
